Fast wireless connection
This device uses the 802.11ax standard, which increases data transfer efficiency on congested networks. It operates in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, thereby dividing data traffic for stable operation of all connected smartphones, tablets and computers. A high transfer speed of up to 3000Mb/s facilitates smooth video streaming or video conferencing from anywhere in the house.
Mesh network connection
The device works with other devolo network elements to create a single Mesh network. This system automatically switches end devices to the strongest available signal source without interrupting the connection. Access Point Steering technology automatically switches smartphones or laptops to a more suitable access point based on signal strength.
Easy setup
Installation is done by pressing the WPS button on the device and on your router. You can configure and manage other features, such as parental controls, time management, or a guest network, via the web interface or the devolo Home Network mobile app for iOS, Android and HarmonyOS. The 300g design plugs directly into a standard type C electrical socket, so the device works in any room without the need for extra cables.
Implemented network technologies
The device integrates OFDMA technology, which divides data channels into smaller units to serve multiple devices simultaneously. A stable transmission is also supported by Airtime Fairness, Band Steering and Beamforming, which direct the signal directly to active devices. Four internal antennae transmit the signal evenly in all directions, covering even the distant corners of the building.
Security and operating modes
The device supports WPA2 and WPA3 standards, which protect transmitted data from unauthorised access. In addition to its basic extender mode, this device can also be operated as a standalone access point. By connecting an Ethernet cable, you can create a new wireless network in rooms where there was previously no wireless signal.
Wired connection for stable transmission
On the bottom of the device is a single gigabit LAN RJ-45 port for a fast wired connection. This port is used to connect games consoles, smart TVs or desktop computers that do not use a wireless interface. A solid cable connection reduces latency and maintains stable transmission of large amounts of data during demanding tasks.
