Wireless Backhaul

Wireless backhaul is the method by which a Wi-Fi extender wirelessly connects to the main router. The term "backhaul" generally refers to a backbone connection that ensures data transfer between individual network elements. In this case, the extender uses a Wi-Fi signal to communicate with the router and gain internet access.
