ARCTIC P12 Pro Reverse A-RGB White
The ARCTIC P12 Pro Reverse A-RGB fan ensures efficient cooling for your computer components. Its reverse airflow design allows it to draw in air from the back, contributing to a clean build aesthetic without visible fan frames when mounted on the bottom or side panel of the case. This 120mm PWM fan combines high performance with noise and vibration reduction technologies. The wide speed range of 500 to 3000rpm is suitable for builds that require both quiet operation at low loads and intensive cooling at full power. The fan's design focuses on effective cooling and visual integration into modern PC cases with addressable A-RGB backlighting.
Key features of the ARCTIC P12 Pro Reverse A-RGB White PC fan
- Uses a Fluid Dynamic Bearing
- Speed range from 500 to 3000rpm
- Speed control via PWM signal
- Operating voltage of 12V DC
- A-RGB backlighting for visual customisation
- PST technology connects multiple fans in series
Optimised blade design
The fan blades are shaped to direct the airflow with reduced losses. The trumpet-shaped intake geometry and teardrop-shaped spokes direct the airflow with less resistance. This design limits turbulence and reduces aerodynamic noise. Small gaps between the blades and the frame increase static pressure by preventing air from leaking backwards. This allows the fan to achieve high efficiency when pushing air through dense radiator fins or dust filters.
Electronics and FDB bearing
A modern IC microcontroller actively reduces motor noise and compensates for load fluctuations to maintain stable speeds. It also integrates protection against current spikes and reverse polarity. The Fluid Dynamic Bearing with a modified shaft design operates more quietly thanks to better pressure distribution and reduced vibration. The oil film inside the bearing prevents direct contact between metal parts, which reduces friction, noise, and wear, contributing to the fan's long service life.
Balanced and smooth operation
The manufacturing process includes automated measurement and dynamic balancing of the rotor. During production, sensors detect even slight imbalances that could cause vibrations. Based on precise data, a balancing mass is applied with high precision to specific points on the rotor. This procedure neutralises vibrations directly at the source, delivering smooth and quiet fan operation across the entire speed range, which limits the transfer of noise to the PC case structure.
PWM control and synchronisation
The fan speed is regulated by a PWM signal, which gives the motherboard precise control in the range of 500 to 3000rpm. PWM Sharing Technology (PST) connects multiple fans in series. You can control all connected fans synchronously from a single header on the motherboard, which simplifies cable management and unifies cooling performance. When the PWM signal is below 5%, the fan stops completely for absolutely silent operation.
