The international standard ranking of IP68 guarantees that neither water nor dust will put the Galaxy A8 in danger, so it can accompany you even on a challenging trip or a wild party. Its durability and ruggedness are complemented by a battery life of 3,000mAh.
Notifications at Hand
The Samsung Galaxy A8's Super AMOLED screen comes equipped with Always On Display feature, which displays important information even when your phone is locked, deactivated and left lying on the table. You don't have to wake it up or hold it in your hand if you want to know what time it is or check on your notifications.
Safe for Your Data
Keep important data stored in your phone without worrying. To unlock the device, you can use a face recognition system or a fingerprint technology together with the more traditional unlock methods. Your sensitive files will be safe in the Samsung Galaxy A8's encrypted Secure Folder and you'll be the only one who can access them.
Higher Speed and Capacity with the Samsung Galaxy A8
Edit your photos or work on important documents, but keep your favourite challenging game running in the background. The Samsung Galaxy A8 won't slow down. Its octa-core Exynos 7885 processor working with 4GB of RAM delivers sufficient performance to handle multitasking. If the phone's 32GB internal memory is not enough for you, you can expand it by inserting a microSD card of up to 256GB.
