Mikrotik CRS305-1G-4S+OUT
A switch is a functional network element that connects individual devices and other network elements. 10/100/1000Base-T technology facilitates data transfer with a speed of up to 1000 Mbit/s. The switch dimensions are 260 × 320 × 80mm. QoS or Quality of Service technology makes sure the switch doesn't get overloaded, and it also allows you to set up end station priority. The switch weighs 2600g. The Mikrotik CRS305-1G-4S+OUT also works on the ISO/OSI model network layer, meaning it may double as a router. Snooping is a technology in network switches for monitoring and controlling specific types of network traffic such as multicast and broadcast messages, providing more efficient management and increasing the security of network traffic, common types include IGMP, DHCP, MLD and ARP Snooping, targeting various protocols and communications in the network.
10GbE port (10 Gigabit Ethernet port) is a high-speed network port supporting transfer speeds up to 10 gigabits per second, ideal for applications requiring high bandwidth such as data centers, server farms and data-intensive applications, provides excellent performance and low latency, ensures efficient and fast data transfer, need to verify whether the computer or NAS supports this speed.
Routing is the process of determining the path that data packets take to get from the source to the destination. It optimizes network performance and ensures that data is routed correctly.
