JBL Stage3 68MF

JBL Stage3 68MF three-way coaxial speakers are designed for vehicle installation, providing a significant upgrade to your sound system. With a diameter of 165mm and patented Plus One cone architecture, they offer higher sensitivity and more powerful low-frequency performance. The woofer cone is reinforced with fibreglass, while the highs are handled by a PEI dome tweeter. The speakers have a rated power handling of 70W RMS and are designed to maximise performance from the head unit or an external amplifier.

Innovative cone design

The sound is built on the patented Plus One cone architecture. This technology provides a larger overall cone area compared to standard speakers in the same class, which contributes to higher sensitivity and more pronounced bass reproduction. The woofer cone itself contains 10% fibreglass, which ensures its rigidity and low-frequency response. The mould for its production is laser-engraved, creating a visual effect on the surface similar to forged carbon fibre.

Clear sound and maximum power utilisation

High-frequency reproduction is handled by an edge-driven balanced PEI dome tweeter. Its design ensures a smooth and wide frequency response without unwanted harshness. The speakers operate with a true 4-ohm impedance, which compensates for resistance in the vehicle's system wiring. This allows them to make the most of the power supplied from the car stereo's head unit or from a connected external amplifier.

Easy installation and respect for the environment

The speakers are designed for seamless integration into various types of vehicles. The precisely engineered mounting makes installation easier and helps achieve consistent acoustic performance. JBL also considered the environment during production. The speakers therefore use recycled plastic components, PVC-free wiring, and packaging printed with soy-based inks.
