The Hikvision DS-KD-M outdoor expansion module serves as a Mirafe contactless RFID card reader with a frequency of 13.56 MHz. The module has an IP65 rating, so it offers high resistance to weathering or mechanical wear and tear. For communication with the base unit, a pair of RS485 connectors with power supply from the base module is used.
