AMD is coming up with a new generation of desktop processors that will be sold again with the FX Series designation, and instead of Bulldozer modules, they will offer the new Piledriver. We can expect higher performance and lower consumption. All processors are designed for the popular AM3+ socket.
Impressive Eight Cores
The AMD FX-8370 processor is the executive representative of the new FX processor family. Its cores are made from a modern 32m manufacturing process, which has resulted in improved processing efficiency, increased performance and reduced thermal radiation. The processor is also equipped with a second-generation Turbo CORE technology that delivers maximum performance over a wide range of uses.

Intelligent Frequency Control
If you do not use all of the processor cores, the operating frequency automatically increases to achieve excellent performance, even for applications that do not depend on full computing. In addition, the processor has a pair of turbo frequencies that can be switched to always reach the specified TDP.
The AMD FX-8370 also offers the ability to process brand new instructions. AVX (Advanced Vector Extensions) instruction improves parallelism, making it especially useful for scientific and 3D applications that use complex floating point calculations. The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) instruction greatly enhances the performance of the latest encryption applications, such as TrueCrypt and PCMark assessment applications.
Overclocking capabilities
The processor supports DDR3 memory. It also works well with low-voltage modules. With this model, an intelligent memory controller is used to optimise the communication between each processor core and the memory module.
