The ROG STRIX B650E-E GAMING WIFI ATX motherboard with the AMD B650E chipset supports AMD Ryzen desktop processors for the AMD AM5 socket. AI Networking optimises network performance. Two-Way AI Noise Cancellation uses a massive deep-learning database to reduce over 5 million types of background noise from incoming or outgoing audio, helping to ensure clear communication in games or during calls.
Advanced features and cooling
WiFi 6E uses the available spectrum in the 6GHz band to provide up to seven 160MHz channels for high throughput and better performance in dense wireless environments. Intel 2.5Gbps Ethernet ensures low-latency gaming, fast file transfers, and high-resolution video streaming. Both x16 expansion slots are Gen 5 ready and protected by SafeSlot brackets. Two of the integrated M.2 slots are geared for 16GB/s read and write speeds thanks to the PCIe 5.0 interface, while the 4.0 pair still provides an impressive 8GB/s. All M.2 slots are protected by substantial heatsinks to dissipate drive heat. High-performance VRM heatsinks ensure efficient heat dissipation.
Personalisation and DIY friendliness
The M.2 Q-Latch makes it easy to install or remove an M.2 SSD without special tools, elegantly replacing traditional screws. The PCIe Slot Q-Release unlocks the first PCIe slot's security latch with a single press, simplifying the process of detaching a card. The Clear CMOS button quickly restores the BIOS to its default settings. BIOS FlashBack lets you update the BIOS from a FAT32-formatted USB drive, even without memory or a CPU installed. The built-in Q-Code LED panel displays two-digit diagnostic codes for troubleshooting startup problems. Black shrouds cover the SSD and chipset with a contrasting texture of powder-coated and brushed metal, while pink accents draw the eye. The I/O shroud features a split image of the ROG eye with a customisable RGB colour.
