ADAM AUDIO T8V
Thanks to its top-class features, the ADAM AUDIO T8V speaker is extremely popular in both amateur and professional studios worldwide. The ADAM Audio T8V delivers high volume, a wide dynamic range and a prominent bass foundation, making it ideal for use in home studios or small control rooms for music production and video post-production. The bevelled cabinet edges minimise sound reflections and disruptive resonances, contributing to a highly precise sound reproduction with minimal distortion.

U-ART High-Frequency Driver
The U-ART ribbon tweeter, which builds on the long legacy of ADAM Audio's manufacturing processes, delivers unusually high resolution in the upper frequencies for the studio monitor category. With a range of up to 25kHz, you won't miss the slightest detail when working on your mix or listening to your favourite tracks. The T8V is fitted with an 8" bass driver with linear excursion, allowing it to reach an incredible 33Hz.
HPS Waveguide from the Premium S-Series
The U-ART tweeter is fitted to an HPS (High-frequency Propagation System) waveguide, which is used in the flagship S-Series models. Its sophisticated design optimises efficiency and localisation while broadening the optimal listening zone (sweet spot). The result is the minimisation of potentially disruptive reflections from horizontal surfaces, such as studio furniture or the room itself.
PWM Technology
PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) technology is used for signal amplification. It converts the input signal into a series of rectangular waves of the same height, whose width varies over time. The waveform can be amplified much more easily by using unmodulated transistors that function as switches, simply turning the supply voltage on and off. The advantages of this solution are extremely high efficiency (>90%) and a much lower operating temperature.
Bass Reflex and Flexible Connectivity
On the rear of the ADAM Audio T8V speaker cabinet, you will find a large bass reflex port, which ensures high-quality reproduction without loss of efficiency, and analogue XLR and RCA inputs. Power for both drivers in the ADAM AUDIO T8V is provided by a pair of Class D amplifiers, which supply the bass driver with 70W (RMS) and the U-ART tweeter with 20W (RMS). As a pair, the ADAM Audio T8V active monitor speakers can achieve a maximum sound pressure level of up to 114dB SPL. The cabinet is equipped with a digital signal processor (DSP), which handles the crossover, equalisation, and speaker protection (limiter).
