Written from elsewhere

Written from Elsewhere is a collection of four standalone horror short stories connected by the theme of books, writing, and stories.

We will encounter a book that certainly does not want anyone to change anything about it. We will join two brothers on a mission to deliver a mysterious briefcase containing a book that they must not open under any circumstances. We will attend the birthday party of a young boy who has created his own book world – but is it really only in the book? We will play an interactive online game that might just have the power to influence reality.

Ronald Malfi has created a world where words have a will of their own, where books can create their own worlds on the border between reality and imagination. The book combines suspense, the supernatural, and a psychological dimension – here, literature is not just a metaphor, but a living, terrifying entity.

Written from Elsewhere offers stories for fans of literary horror who want more than just a spooky atmosphere: they want to be drawn into the story so deeply that they can no longer distinguish between fiction and reality.
