White Witch
The world is locked in a secret battle over China's technologically revolutionary space station
Ronnie Luck works as a networker for the Army Cyber Force. A life full of missions and uncertainty slowly begins to tire him and memories of Tokyo come back to his mind. Rest with his wife is disrupted by a mission of the highest priority - a new Chinese space station, the White Witch, has just entered allied space. It is a technological marvel unlike anything mankind has seen before, and Ronnie is sent to the station with two other agents to gather as much information about it as possible.
Kaidan Korg survives in the slums of Hong Kong, where he struggles every day to survive. When the Chinese Party Inquisition arrives in town, they decide to take action and steal a highly prized scalar unit from her ship. But this sets off a whirlwind of events that take him to places he never knew existed.
Chloe Hunter, the daughter of former military intelligence captain Arisu Deskar Hunter, works as an investigative journalist and specializes in topics others are afraid to write about. While waiting for the next big story, she is contacted by a mysterious stranger asking her to track down the origins and circumstances of the White Witch. With an insatiable curiosity and the certainty of an unlimited supply of stranger's money, Chloe embarks on a harrowing journey to find the piece of her life that will cost her far more than she could have imagined.

Cyberpunk has certainly not gone away; on the contrary, with the advances in technology in recent years, its message is gaining new weight. And newcomer Petr Kubát is doing great in such an atmosphere - a clever, readable, action-packed and civil book, that's exactly what Síťařka is. It seems that a promising new name in action fiction is growing up alongside Kristýna Sněgoňová and František Kotleta.
— Fortress about the novel The Sitar
In The White Witch, Petr Kubát builds on the foundations, which he had already laid in his successful debut, The Sitter, and brings cyberpunk sci-fi, in which super-rich visionaries intertwined with the omnipresent state, are taking power from the previously dominant corporations. This spy thriller evokes a future that seems all too believable and close.
