Benefits of Pre-Orders:
Deal with your morning emails and documents on a large, tablet-sized screen, let AI take notes during afternoon meetings, and fold the phone up in the evening for a photo walk around town. Vivo X Fold6 combines the productivity of a foldable device with a flagship camera. Once unfolded, it offers an 8.02" internal display where you can run up to 4 apps side-by-side thanks to OriginOS 7 Fold. Folded, you can comfortably control it with one hand using the 6.51" external display. The ZEISS camera system is led by a 200Mpx main camera featuring a large 1/1.4" sensor and optical image stabilisation. It is complemented by a 50Mpx ZEISS APO periscope telephoto lens with 3× optical zoom and a 50Mpx ultra-wide-angle camera. The MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset delivers high performance, while the 6900mAh semi-solid-state battery reliably operates even in freezing temperatures down to −20°C. An IP58 and IP59 rating also protects the phone against high-pressure hot water jets, which is far from standard for foldable devices.
Unfolding the phone opens up a spacious canvas where you can comfortably read documents, edit photos or watch movies. Vivo X Fold6 features an 8.02" internal ZEISS Master Colour AMOLED display with a resolution of 2504×2312 pixels. This almost-square format is perfect for working with two side-by-side apps or using the Origin Workbench desktop space. Modern SDC M14 material and LTPO 8T technology achieve a local peak brightness of up to 5000 nits, keeping the screen perfectly readable even under direct sunlight. The adaptive 1 to 120Hz refresh rate delivers smooth scrolling while saving battery. The flexible display is protected by 0.03mm ultra-thin UTG glass.
You do not always need a massive screen, so the external display is ready for everyday tasks without unfolding. When folded, Vivo X Fold6 offers a fully-fledged 6.51" AMOLED display with a resolution of 2528×1120 pixels. Its elongated shape makes one-handed control comfortable, whether replying to messages, making mobile payments or navigating with maps. Just like the internal screen, it supports an adaptive 1 to 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2000 nits of high brightness, ensuring a superb image even in direct sunlight. You can also take photos with the main camera when folded and immediately check the results on the cover display. The screen is protected against scratches by durable CDGM F5 glass.
A foldable phone no longer means compromising on a flagship camera. Vivo X Fold6 boasts a main ZEISS camera with a 200Mpx resolution and a large 1/1.4" Samsung HPB sensor. The 23mm focal length and f/1.68 aperture capture rich details in broad daylight as well as on an evening city walk. Optical image stabilisation with a CIPA 4.5 rating keeps shots sharp even when on the move. The ZEISS T* anti-reflective coating reduces glare and ghosting in backlit conditions, while the proprietary vivo V3+ image processor ensures natural and true-to-life colours.
For subjects beyond the reach of the main camera, the 50Mpx ZEISS APO periscope telephoto lens with a Sony LYT-602 sensor steps in. It offers 3× optical zoom (70mm equivalent) and up to 100× digital ZEISS Hyper Zoom. ZEISS APO chromatic aberration correction and vivo VCS technology ensure sharp images of distant landscapes and night-time cityscapes. Additionally, the Vivo X Fold6 telephoto lens lets you capture stunning macro shots of tiny details from a comfortable distance. In portrait mode, you can switch between 5 classic focal lengths: 23, 35, 50, 85 and 100mm. The variable-focus flash then gives portraits natural skin tones.
Capture vast landscapes, monumental architecture or large groups of friends with the 50Mpx ZEISS ultra-wide-angle camera featuring a 15mm focal length. Autofocus and minimal edge distortion guarantee clean images across the entire frame. Vivo X Fold6 also excels at video recording, capturing up to 8K, 4K at 120fps and slow-motion video in 4K at 240fps. Stage Mode shoots concerts or theatre performances in 4K at 60fps in Dolby Vision. For selfies and video calls, 20Mpx front-facing cameras are ready on both the internal and external displays.
Working in multiple windows at once demands a lot from a phone, which is why Vivo X Fold6 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset. Built on a 3nm process, its 8 cores clock up to 4.21GHz. The chipset is tailored specifically for the Origin Workbench workspace, reducing power consumption by 10% during intensive multitasking. Coupled with 12GB RAM, it keeps open apps ready in the background for instant access. The 6900mAh battery delivers up to 9.37 hours of multi-app work in Origin Workbench or up to 7.43 hours of Teams video calls. Smooth operation over the long term is guaranteed by 5 years of OS upgrades and 7 years of security updates.
Dual displays and multi-app multitasking require a serious power reserve. Vivo X Fold6 delivers this with a 6900mAh BlueVolt battery, housed in a body that measures a mere 4.40mm thin when unfolded. The powerful and efficient chipset conserves energy throughout a day of work, video calls and photography. Third-generation semi-solid-state cell technology ensures stable performance even in freezing temperatures. When it is time to top up, 80W fast wired charging takes care of it quickly, or you can opt for convenient 40W wireless charging by simply placing the phone on a charging pad.
A folding phone does not have to be a fragile device you are afraid to take out in the rain. Vivo X Fold6 offers IP58 and IP59 protection, meaning it even withstands high-pressure jets of hot water up to 80°C. According to the manufacturer, it can handle up to 1000 folds even when submerged in depths of up to 1m. The inner display is protected by 0.03mm ultra-thin UTG glass, while the outer screen features durable CDGM F5 glass. In addition, the third-generation Semi-Solid-State battery technology operates reliably in freezing temperatures down to -20°C, so you can use your phone on the slopes, skiing, or during winter hikes with total peace of mind.
Buying your new phone comes with an extra benefit that takes care of both your memories and your productivity. With Vivo X Fold6, you get a free 3-month subscription to Google AI Pro, which includes 5TB of Google One cloud storage. The advanced Gemini assistant helps you write copy, plan trips, or compile meeting notes. You can then securely back up thousands of photos and 4K videos to the spacious storage. This bonus is available to users who have never paid for Google One and do not currently have an active trial. Activation is easy: in the Gemini app, tap your profile picture and select start trial. Alternatively, after the initial phone setup, send your first query and tap the promotional banner on the home screen. The offer is valid until 2 October 2027.
A large display only makes sense with an operating system that can fully exploit its potential. Vivo X Fold6 therefore comes with the OriginOS 7 Fold skin, tailored for the 8.02" inner display and controlled by intuitive gestures. The Origin Workbench workspace displays one main task alongside up to 4 other non-overlapping windows, letting you transition between meetings, documents, and search without constantly switching apps. In split-screen mode, you can run up to 4 apps side by side. The AI Cross-App Drag feature lets you drag text or images between windows to instantly translate, process, or create a new contact. For business meetings, the AI Meeting Assistant helps with real-time subtitles in multiple languages and meeting summaries broken down by individual speakers.
A high-quality phone is an investment that should serve you well for a long time without slowing down. Vivo X Fold6 therefore receives 5 years of operating system updates and 7 years of security updates, keeping your data, payments, and accounts secure. Long-term agility is ensured by the Origin Smooth Engine technology, backed by a 72-month smooth performance certification.
