The UGREEN NAS DH2300 is a network attached storage (NAS) device for your home that gives you full control over your photos, videos, documents and backups, without monthly cloud storage fees. It offers fast local and remote data access, multi-user support, advanced security, and practical features for automatic backups. Its compact design, quiet operation, and simple setup make it ideal for both home and small office use.
The UGREEN NAS DH2300 lets you store your data at home and keep it handy at all times, without recurring fees for cloud services. Unlike a regular cloud, you have full control over your data while still enjoying convenient access over your network and remotely.
The NAS is designed for the secure storage of both personal and work data. It boasts strong data transfer encryption (TLS/SSL, RSA, AES), ensuring that transfers between your devices and the storage are more secure. Another advantage is that your files stay at home with you, not on a third-party server.
The DH2300 supports RAID redundancy, which helps protect your data if one of the disks fails. If a disk failure occurs, the data can be recovered from the other disk (depending on the selected mode), significantly increasing the security of your stored files.
For enhanced account protection, two-factor authentication and continuous threat monitoring are available. This combination helps reduce the risk of unauthorised access and increases security during remote use.
The NAS uses a 1GbE LAN, so it achieves significantly higher speeds for local transfers compared to a regular upload to a public cloud.
The setup is designed to be quick and straightforward. Enjoy a simple 3-step setup, automatic backups and easy file sharing. You can also quickly link your phone to the NAS with a single tap.
The UGREEN NAS DH2300 supports multiple users and access from various devices (computer, phone, etc.). You can set different folder permissions: read and write, read-only, or no access. This is useful for family sharing as well as for small team collaboration.
The NAS handles automatic backups from multiple devices and also synchronises with cloud services. The advantage is that you can keep a local copy of your files even when syncing with online storage (e.g. OneDrive / Google Drive).
The system includes features for more convenient photo management: Smart Categorization, duplicate removal, OCR text recognition, person recognition, quick sharing, Live Photos backup and automatic photo backup. You'll especially appreciate these when managing large photo archives.
The DH2300 is equipped with an 8-core processor, a 6 TOPS NPU for AI tasks, and 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM. At the same time, it boasts low power consumption (10W TDP), making the device suitable for long-term, continuous operation.
The device offers a practical selection of ports for everyday use: 1× USB-C (5Gb/s), 2× USB-A (USB 3.2, 5Gb/s), 1× 1GbE LAN, 1× HDMI (4K/60Hz), a reset button, and a power input (DC 12V).
Thanks to the HDMI output, you can connect the NAS directly to your TV and use it as a media centre for your film library. This is especially useful at home, where you want to keep photos and videos stored in one place and easily play them on the big screen.
The device has a minimalist finish and has been designed with an emphasis on quiet operation. It will fit in perfectly in your study, living room or home office without causing a disturbance.
