The Ubiquiti U7-Pro-XG WiFi access point is a tri-band access point with support for the WiFi 7 standard, delivering high total transfer speeds. The device operates on three frequency bands, specifically 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz, balancing wireless traffic for a stable connection. The access point uses a total of six spatial streams for smooth data transmission to many end devices simultaneously. Its UV-stable polycarbonate and aluminium alloy construction is suitable for demanding indoor operation. The package includes a Lite Mount kit for wall or ceiling installation. Data transfer is protected by encryption protocols. Wireless operation is secured by WPA2 and WPA3 security standards, including support for 802.1x enterprise authentication. Network administrators can use guest isolation and Private Pre-Shared Key technology to securely separate different user groups. The access point also offers MAC address filtering for access control.

WiFi connectivity and speed
The Ubiquiti U7-Pro-XG WiFi access point uses the 802.11be standard and transmits on three bands. It uses the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz frequencies for wireless transfers. The device offers data transmission in the 6GHz band with a speed of 5800Mbps. In the 5GHz band, it operates at 4300Mbps, and in the 2.4GHz band, it reaches 688Mbps. The 2×2 MU-MIMO technology on all bands helps to efficiently handle multiple requests simultaneously.
Mesh technology
The Ubiquiti U7-Pro-XG WiFi access point supports WiFi Mesh technology for connecting multiple units into a single network. Integrated 802.11r Fast Roaming, 802.11v, and 802.11k protocols assist with fast switching of client devices between access points. The access point can cover an area of up to 140m² with a stable signal. More than 300 client devices can connect to the network at once without losing stability.
Connectivity and power options
The connector array of the Ubiquiti U7-Pro-XG WiFi access point includes one RJ45 Ethernet port. The wired network connection is handled by a high-speed 10GbE Ethernet port for a fast link to the backbone infrastructure. Power is supplied via the Ethernet cable using PoE+ or PoE++ standards, with a power consumption of 22W and a supported voltage range of 42.5 to 57V DC. The device operates reliably in a temperature range of -30 to 40°C. The package includes a mounting kit and a bracket for ceiling or wall installation.
