Ubiquiti AirPRISM
Ubiquiti AirPRISM
The Ubiquiti AirPRISM WiFi antenna is used to distribute a wireless signal in the 5GHz band when building Point-to-MultiPoint networks. This outdoor device, with a 65° sector angle, directs the signal to several client stations simultaneously. Its construction is resistant to adverse weather conditions and wind gusts. RP-SMA connectors provide the link to the transmitter. The antenna operates with a gain of 22dBi, contributing to effective coverage of the defined sector. Three integrated segments, each with a 30° beamwidth, cover a total radiation angle of 65° in both horizontal and vertical planes. The device supports the 802.11ac standard for high-speed data transfer. A 2° electrical downtilt makes it easy to precisely aim the signal at client units.
Key features of the Ubiquiti AirPRISM WiFi antenna
- Operates in the 5.15 to 5.85GHz frequency band with a high gain of 22dBi
- The construction withstands wind gusts of up to 200km/h
- Uses dual polarisation for a stable wireless transmission
- The sector radiation angle covers a 65° area
- Six RP-SMA connectors are resistant to adverse weather conditions
- Supports the modern 802.11ac standard for fast data transfers
Durability in demanding conditions
The IP65-rated construction reliably resists dust and rain during outdoor installation. The device can handle a wind load of 534N at an air speed of 200km/h without compromising stability. The metal mounting elements hold the antenna firmly on the mast. The six RP-SMA connectors have special protection against bad weather.
Technical parameters and compatibility
The antenna is fully compatible with Rocket5ac Prism radio units. The connection between the two parts uses six RP-SMA connectors with high resistance to moisture. The device operates in the frequency range from 5.15 to 5.85GHz. The total weight of the assembly, including the mounting bracket, is 13.1kg.
