The TP VIGI NVR4032H network recorder is designed for the centralised storage, management and monitoring of recordings from IP security cameras. This rack-mounted device processes video signals from connected devices and saves them to hard drives. Users can watch live streams and captured recordings via a connected monitor, computer software or mobile app. The device supports the connection of up to 32 IP cameras simultaneously and handles a high data throughput for stable surveillance. The device supports video output at a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels via the HDMI interface, which delivers a detailed picture on compatible 4K monitors. The decoding capacity enables smooth playback of up to 16 channels at a resolution of 2MP with a speed of 25 frames per second. Alternatively, you can choose to display 8 channels at a resolution of 4MP at 30 frames per second.

High throughput
Incoming and outgoing bandwidth reaches 320Mbps, which ensures seamless video transmission from high-resolution cameras. Two integrated 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet ports operate in several modes to increase connection reliability. Multi-address mode allows you to set up two different gateways, while port aggregation increases the overall bandwidth. The network fault tolerance function creates a backup connection in case one of the cables fails.
Storage with RAID array support
The recorder has four SATA interfaces and the total storage capacity reaches 40TB, providing plenty of space for long-term data storage. To increase the security of stored recordings and protect against hardware failure, the disks can be configured into RAID 1 or RAID 5 arrays. This gives users data mirroring or distributed parity storage directly in the recorder.
Compression and smart event detection
Modern H.265+ compression technology significantly reduces the demands on hard drive capacity and computer network load. The recorder transmits compressed video without any loss of image quality, which extends the possible recording time on the installed drives. The device also supports older H.265, H.264+, H.264 and MPEG4 encoding standards to maintain compatibility with different types of cameras. This system optimises data flow distribution during recording and remote viewing. The network recorder works with cameras to identify unusual situations in the monitored area. The system offers motion detection, intrusion into a marked area and the presence of vehicles in the footage. The alarm is also triggered in case of video signal loss, unauthorised tampering with the camera or a hard drive error. The recorder immediately sends notifications to users' mobile phones via the app.
Setup and management
The auto-start function shortens the configuration time for the entire surveillance system. With a single click, you can initialise the basic parameters of the connected cameras and the hard drive without the need for complicated manual setup. The entire system is managed via a desktop application, a web interface or a mobile app for Android and iOS platforms. The device supports cloud storage for backing up key footage off the local recorder.
