Image parameters
The 1/3” Progressive Scan CMOS sensor provides a clear image in 1920×1080px resolution at up to 30fps. The fixed 4mm lens with an F2.0 aperture is complemented by a 74.6° horizontal, 41.3° vertical, and 88.1° screen size angle of view. Modern video compression with support for H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264 standards effectively reduces data network load and saves space on your storage without compromising the resulting recording quality. For specific narrow spaces, a practical corridor mode with a 9:16 aspect ratio is available.
Night vision
Reliable surveillance in poor light conditions is ensured by classic infrared night vision with a wavelength of 850nm. A single powerful IR LED source illuminates the monitored area up to a distance of 30m. The system automatically activates the infrared filter according to the ambient light, or the switching can be set to a fixed schedule, contributing to continuous property protection.
Intelligent detection
Integrated artificial intelligence algorithms can accurately distinguish people and vehicles from other moving objects in the frame. The system reacts instantly to defined line crossings, entry into a set area, unauthorised tampering with the device, or the removal or abandonment of objects. When an incident is detected, the camera immediately sends push notifications to the mobile app for a quick response to the situation.
Image processing and enhancement
Professional SmartVid technologies include advanced features to enhance video clarity in any light condition. The WDR function compensates for large differences in brightness, while 3D DNR removes unwanted noise from the image. Smart IR technology prevents the unpleasant overexposure of nearby objects by the infrared light, making it easier to identify details at night.
Recording storage and management
Users have flexible options for saving captured video recordings directly to an NVR network recorder or VIGI Cloud VMS cloud storage. The entire system can be easily managed via the recorder's intuitive interface, the VIGI Security Manager client software for PCs, or remotely through the mobile app.
Connectivity and application
Network connectivity is provided by a single RJ-45 Ethernet port with a speed of 10/100M, which also supports PoE power according to the 802.3af/at standard with a consumption of 5.5W. Remote setup and monitoring is enabled by the VIGI App for Android and iOS operating systems or a web interface in internet browsers.
