The TP-Link VIGI C340S is an outdoor 4MP IP camera that gives you an overview of what's happening around your home, business or premises, day or night. With PoE support, you can transmit data and power the camera through a single ethernet cable, which makes installation much easier. Using VIGI colourPro Night Vision technology, the camera can capture a full-colour image even in very low light, while True WDR and 3D DNR technologies help preserve clear details in high-contrast lighting conditions and reduce image noise. The TP-Link VIGI C340S distinguishes people and vehicles from other objects and uses smart detection to alert you to events such as intrusion into a monitored area, crossing a set line, entering or leaving an area, or object removal. The camera also offers people and vehicle analysis based on selected attributes, making it easier for you to search for specific events in your recordings. When suspicious activity is detected, the camera can trigger an active defence with light and sound alarms, and two-way audio lets you communicate with people in front of the lens. Recordings can be stored on a microSD card with a capacity of up to 512GB, and H.265+ compression helps save storage space and network bandwidth. Thanks to VIGI colourPro Night Vision technology, the IP camera can capture a colourful and detailed image even in very low ambient light conditions. Unlike standard infrared night vision, this allows you to better distinguish important colour details of people, vehicles or other objects in the recording. The TP-Link VIGI C340S makes it easier to identify important events and ensures you have an overview of the monitored area, even at night.
Four technologies for a better image at night
The TP-Link VIGI C340S outdoor camera delivers high-quality colour images in very low light thanks to a combination of four technologies. The large F1.0 aperture captures up to 4× more light, while the highly sensitive 1/1.8" sensor offers a 2.1× larger light-sensitive area to make more effective use of available light. In addition, the specially designed white supplementary light provides more even and softer illumination of the monitored scene. The resulting image is then processed by a built-in ISP module with smart algorithms that automatically optimise its quality.
Clear image thanks to True WDR and 3D DNR
True WDR technology combines different exposure levels to preserve clearly visible details in both bright and dark parts of the image, which you'll appreciate when monitoring areas with significant differences in lighting. Thanks to the 3D DNR function, the TP-Link VIGI C340S camera also analyses the image across individual frames and helps reduce digital noise while preserving important details. The automatic white balance then ensures a more natural colour reproduction in different lighting conditions.

The VIGI C340S uses advanced AI detection, which lets you preset monitoring rules according to the specific needs of the secured area. This makes it easy to customise security for areas such as around your house, the entrance to your business, a car park, a warehouse or other monitored spaces.
