The TP-Link RE405 WiFi extender expands the wireless network coverage in your home or office, eliminating areas with a weak signal. This device supports the modern WiFi 7 standard and operates in two frequency bands with a total transfer speed of up to 6.5Gb/s. Four external antennas transmit a stable signal even to harder-to-reach areas, while the integrated Ethernet port with a speed of 6452Mb/s provides a reliable wired connection for games consoles, computers, or smart TVs. Compatibility with EasyMesh technology allows you to create a unified network in cooperation with corresponding routers from various manufacturers. Mobile devices automatically connect to the strongest signal source without needing to manually switch between networks. This seamless roaming prevents connection dropouts as you move between rooms in your house.

A new generation of connectivity
The WiFi 7 standard delivers higher data transfer efficiency and significantly reduces latency in network communication. Multi-Link Operation technology lets end devices send and receive data simultaneously across different frequency bands and channels, leading to higher throughput and a more stable connection, even in congested environments with many active clients. In the mobile app, you can set a night mode for the LED indicators or schedule power on/off times.
Extreme dual-band speed
The device achieves speeds of up to 5764Mb/s in the 5GHz band and provides speeds of up to 688Mb/s in the 2.4GHz band. Support for 160MHz bandwidth and 4K-QAM modulation increases the density of transmitted data in each signal. These parameters are sufficient for smooth high-resolution video streaming and fast downloads of large files, with a transmission power of less than 30dBm in both bands for safe and reliable data transfer.
High-speed 2.5Gb/s port
The back of the device features a single RJ-45 Ethernet port that supports a Multi-Gigabit connection. When an Ethernet cable is plugged in, the extender also functions as an access point, creating a dual-band wireless network. Data transmission protection corresponds to modern WPA3 security standards, which supplement the older WPA2 and WPA2-PSK protocols. The Access Control feature prevents unauthorised clients from connecting to the internal network. The extender can broadcast up to two separate SSIDs for efficient traffic distribution, while the built-in DHCP server takes care of automatically assigning IP addresses to all connected end devices on the network.
