The TP-Link EAP603-Outdoor WiFi access point brings fast and stable Wi-Fi 6 connectivity to outdoor spaces. This dual-band access point operates simultaneously in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, where it uses 2×2 MU-MIMO technology to achieve a combined transmission speed of up to 1775Mbps. The IP65-certified design is resistant to dust and water, ensuring reliable operation in harsh weather conditions. Thanks to its integration into the Omada SDN platform and support for Omada Mesh technology, it creates reliable coverage for large outdoor areas, with simple centralised management for business parks, parks or hotel terraces.

Wi-Fi 6 and Omada Mesh technology
The access point supports the 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) standard and operates concurrently on two frequency bands to optimise performance. It delivers speeds of up to 574Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and up to 1201Mbps on the 5GHz band. To efficiently serve multiple clients, it uses 2×2 MU-MIMO technology on both bands. Integrated Omada Mesh technology wirelessly connects multiple units to extend coverage without the need for additional cabling. The seamless roaming feature (802.11k/v/r) automatically switches clients to the access point with the best signal without interrupting the connection, for example, when moving around a property.
Centralised management
Integration with the Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform unifies the management of network elements such as access points, switches, and gateways. The platform offers management options via a web interface, the Omada hardware controller, a software controller, the cloud, or the Omada mobile app. This gives network administrators a complete overview and control from a single location. The Zero-Touch Provisioning feature is ready for large-scale deployments.
Advanced security and user authentication
This outdoor access point offers a comprehensive suite of security features to protect your network and data. It supports WPA3-Personal and WPA3-Enterprise encryption standards, which bring a higher level of security to sensitive networks. For guest networks, a Captive Portal is available, which authenticates users through various methods, including SMS, vouchers, a RADIUS server, or an external LDAP server. Administrators can further refine access rules using MAC address filtering, access control lists (ACLs), or enterprise authentication via a RADIUS server (802.1X). Support for PPSK, with or without a RADIUS server, also enhances security in multi-user environments.
Power and connectivity options
The device ensures reliable operation in outdoor environments. Its durable chassis meets the IP65 certification, confirming its resistance to dust ingress and splashing water from any direction. An operating temperature range of -30°C to 70°C allows for deployment in various climatic conditions. Power is supplied either via the 802.3at PoE standard or by using the 48V Passive PoE adapter included in the package. A mounting kit for wall or pole installation and a waterproof kit to protect the connectors are included. A single Gigabit Ethernet port is used for network connection. This port ensures a fast and stable wired connection to your existing infrastructure.
