The Sheriff's Temptation

Don’t believe everything you hear about Robin Hood, the outlaw of Sherwood Forest. No such man ever existed. But there is a woman…

And that’s me, Robynne – a foxy shapeshifter, a master archer, and an outlaw with a burning desire to avoid trouble. But when my impulsive brother and his band of colourful misfits ambush a passing carriage, they set off a chain of events that will change my destiny forever. I can't stop them, so I settle for the next best thing – robbing from the rich and giving to the poor.

It would all be going smoothly if the new Sheriff of Nottingham wasn't hot on my heels, eager to catch me. And when it comes to Daniel, ‘hot’ is definitely the right word. Unlike his predecessor, he's a brawny knight and a dragon-blooded shapeshifter, fresh from the Crusades. He awakens desires in me I've never known before…

As an outlaw and a sheriff, we are sworn enemies, even though we want the same thing – justice for the oppressed, the return of the rightful King Richard… and a chance to unleash our wildest, most passionate fantasies.

But for us, star-crossed lovers, it’s not that simple. The year is 1193 – an era of scheming princes, greedy warlords, and ruthless shapeshifters. If we want our happily ever after, Daniel and I will have to rely on cunning, fierce combat, and a love that burns hotter than dragon fire.

I’ve never let rules, expectations, or impossible odds stop me… but I must admit, this is going to be one hell of a challenge.

And if you hear growling, that’s my inner fox. Challenge accepted.
