Wi-Fi connectivity and speed
The device fully supports the Wi-Fi 6 standard and efficiently divides wireless traffic into two frequency bands to achieve high throughput and low latency. Stable data transmission is ensured by advanced MU-MIMO 2×2, OFDMA, and Beamforming technologies, which optimise signal direction to connected devices and prevent interference. The 2.4GHz band offers transfer speeds of up to 574Mbps and is suitable for less demanding activities. The 5GHz band provides speeds of up to 2402Mbps, which is more than enough for 8K streaming and online gaming.
Mesh technology and coverage
The device fully supports Wi-Fi+ Mesh technology, which lets you easily create a unified wireless network by linking several compatible Tenda devices. Five external non-detachable 6dBi antennas ensure wide and stable coverage. The whole system automatically switches end devices to the stronger signal source without any dropouts as you move around the building. Power is supplied via the included mains adapter. The design allows for easy wall mounting to save space on your desk.
Network security and connectivity
The integrated firewall protects your internal network from unwanted attacks from the internet, and parental controls let you effectively manage access to selected websites. The device supports WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, WPA3-SAE, and WPA/WPA2-PSK security protocols. Network security includes protection against UDP, TCP, and other flood attacks, as well as blocking PING commands from the internet. Parental controls with blacklist and whitelist support and a client filter are also available. A physical WPS button enables easy pairing without needing to enter a password. For reliable wired connections to computers, game consoles, or TVs, the router is equipped with a set of fast Ethernet ports with full gigabit throughput: 1× Gigabit WAN port (10/100/1000Mbps) for the internet connection, and 3× Gigabit LAN ports (10/100/1000Mbps) for local network devices.
