Tenda HG1 Single Port GPON ONT FTTH terminal - 1x SC/APC, Class B+, 1x GLAN RJ45, IPv6, TR069, OMCI
The Tenda HG1 single port optical media converter is an XPON ONT-type end-user client device that provides high-speed FTTH (Fibre To The Home) optical connection directly to houses or flats. The network converter terminates the optical line and converts the signal to a standard metallic line for subsequent connection to a home router or computer. The device fully meets demanding operational requirements with a maximum power consumption of up to 5.4W and operates reliably in a temperature range from 0°C to 45°C. The physical proportions of the device are minimal for easy placement in distribution boards. With dimensions of 57 × 23 × 59mm, the terminal can be easily integrated into small mounting boxes, installation trunking, or domestic mini-distribution boards. The weight of the entire device is only 0.1kg, which facilitates wall mounting.

Optical Signal Conversion
The device converts the optical path from the XPON SC/APC standard to a classic metallic line. The unit uses a TX wavelength of 1,310nm for transmission and an RX of 1,490nm for reception, with an optical power of TX 0.5 to 5dBm and RX -28 to -8dBm. The entire device is powered by a mains adapter with an output of 9V DC and a current of 600mA. The converter complies with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.1p and 802.1Q standards for reliable data transmission over a metallic network.
Remote Management and Fast Gigabit Interface
The device supports TR069 (ACS, Connection request) and OMCI protocols for effective remote management. Internet Service Providers can perform configuration and monitor statistics directly from the central OLT unit, which also includes remote error reporting and network security. Local management and measurement of optical network parameters can be carried out as standard via a regular web browser interface. Ping, Ping6, Tracert and Tracert6 diagnostic tools are also available. The converter has one RJ45 type LAN port with support for 1Gb/s gigabit transmission. Stable communication and low latency support demanding applications including VoIP internet telephony, high-definition video calls, video conferencing, VPN tunnels, or online gaming. The physical interface is complemented by one integrated Reset button for easy restoration of factory settings and four LED indicators: LAN, LOS, PON and PWR.
Network Functions, Routing and High Network Throughput
The terminal operates in both Router and Bridge modes and supports IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, including Radvd, DHCPv6, MLD Proxy and MLD Snooping protocols. It also includes support for VLAN virtual networks and an integrated firewall with IP, MAC, URL and Port address security filters to protect the internal network. The device offers DHCP Server, Client, DHCP Client List, Address Reservation, DHCP Relay and Dynamic DNS services for flexible WAN connection configuration. The network architecture allows high-speed data transmission over long distances in accordance with ITU-T G.984, G984.2, G984.3 and G984.4 standards. Users have access to data download speeds of up to 2.488Gbps and upload speeds of up to 1.244Gbps. The maximum length of the optical fibre between the transmitter and receiver can be up to 20km without loss of signal stability, which is also suitable for extensive passive optical networks.
