LTE Cat 6 Mobile Connection
The device has two SIM card slots and supports eSIM technology, which prevents signal dropouts. The LTE Cat 6 mobile module downloads data at speeds of up to 300Mbps and uploads at speeds of up to 50Mbps. The system automatically switches between operators in case of signal loss or reaching a limit, thereby maintaining a constant internet connection. Users can manage up to 7 eSIM profiles directly in the router's interface.
Wireless Network
The integrated Wi-Fi 5 operates on dual 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands with transfer speeds of up to 867Mbps. MU-MIMO technology helps serve up to 150 wireless client devices simultaneously without a drop in performance. The router also supports Bluetooth 5.0 LE for short-range communication with sensors. Six external detachable antennas improve signal reception in areas with weak coverage.
Data Security and VPN with the Teltonika LTE Router RUTX11 modem
Network traffic protection is provided by an advanced firewall that filters packets and prevents DDoS attacks. WPA3-SAE and WPA2-Enterprise encryption protects wireless transmissions from unauthorised access. The device supports a wide range of encrypted VPN protocols including OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard, and Tailscale. These protocols create secure tunnels for remote connection to the corporate network.
Industrial Protocols and Interfaces
The router has four gigabit ethernet ports, one of which serves as a WAN and three as LAN. For integration into industrial systems, it uses OPC UA and MODBUS TCP protocols for data collection and transmission. The anodised aluminium metal housing withstands harsh external conditions and vibrations. The EN 45545-2 certification approves this device for use in passenger trains.
