STATUS Viva 131105 Glass vacuum jar 1,4 l blue

The STATUS Viva vacuum container offers a practical solution for food storage. It's made from borosilicate glass, which is known for its high durability. This means you can safely use it in the oven, microwave, fridge, and freezer. The 1.4-litre container is designed to extend the freshness and flavour of your meals. Its temperature resistance ranges from –20°C to +300°C, making it a versatile assistant in any kitchen. Maintenance is easy, as the container is dishwasher safe.

Extended freshness thanks to the vacuum

The vacuum storage system effectively slows down the oxidation that causes food to spoil. After removing the air with a vacuum pump (not included), food stays fresh up to four times longer, retaining its original taste, aroma, and nutritional value. Double leak protection is provided by the combination of an airtight and vacuum seal, which reliably protects the contents from drying out and prevents odours from spreading in the fridge.

Compatibility and practical use

To create a vacuum, the container is compatible with both manual and electric STATUS vacuum pumps. It can also be used with vacuum sealers that have a container vacuuming function. When heating in the microwave, you must remove the lid, and the heating time should not exceed two minutes. Thanks to the stackable rectangular shape, you can easily stack the containers on top of each other, making efficient use of space in your fridge or pantry.

The vacuum pump is not included. Always remove the lid when using in the microwave.
