The Simplehuman kitchen compost caddy has a lid with a soft seal that allows organic waste to breathe while locking unpleasant odours inside. The seal also prevents pests like fruit flies from getting in and multiplying. The inner plastic bucket can be easily removed and emptied. The 4L caddy is designed to hang on a classic Simplehuman bin, but with separately purchased accessories, it can also be mounted on the inside of a kitchen cabinet door or on a wall. The caddy itself attaches to the holder via a magnetic base. The magnetic base holds the kitchen waste caddy firmly in place and, when needed, keeps the lid open for conveniently peeling fruit or vegetables. Thanks to the magnetic dock, you can remove the caddy at any time and place it directly on your worktop.

The removable lid makes it easy to take out the inner plastic bucket, which is simple to empty and rinse thanks to its smooth surface. Compostable bin liners with the code “Z” are designed specifically for Simplehuman organic waste caddies. They fit the inner bucket perfectly and don't create an unsightly overhang. As they are certified biodegradable, the liners can be composted along with your bio-waste. The pack includes 30 replacement “Z” liners.
