The built-in power and energy consumption monitoring gives you an overview of how your connected devices are operating and allows you to create smart scenes—for example, a notification when a washing cycle is complete based on a drop in power consumption, or automatic heating control based on data from a compatible temperature sensor. The Shelly Plug M Gen3 smart plug also supports schedules and timers stored locally, so selected automations can function even during an internet outage. Safe operation is ensured by overheat protection and a multi-colour LED indicator. Additionally, a built-in Bluetooth gateway allows it to transmit data from compatible Shelly BLU devices to your home network, and its Wi-Fi extender function helps to expand coverage for other Shelly devices.
