The Větrov Vampire: A Jiří Adam of Dobronín Case
In a house by the walls of Prague's New Town, a vampire bites the throat of the respectable merchant Mareš od Košíku and then calmly departs for the Větrov cemetery in full view of the neighbours. However, Mareš's wife is the daughter of the influential royal master cook, who turns to Jiří Adam of Dobronín for help. And because it's a perplexing case, he is assisted by his wife Johanka, who recently proved so capable during an investigation in the Šumava mountains. But the vampire strikes again, and terror continues to stalk the city…
