Philips TAH6000 white
The Philips TAH wireless headphones feature a closed, over-ear design for reliable passive isolation from ambient noise. Connect to your devices using either wireless Bluetooth 6.0 technology or the detachable 3.5mm jack cable. The integrated hybrid active noise cancelling system adapts to the current conditions in your surroundings. The built-in battery offers up to 80 hours of use on a single charge without active noise cancelling. With the ANC function turned on, the operating time is reduced to 50 hours. Sound and tuning
The specially tuned 40mm drivers deliver balanced reproduction with a frequency range of 20–40,000Hz. The Dynamic Bass function enhances bass frequencies even at low volume levels. For wireless audio transmission, the headphones use the AAC and SBC codecs with a warm sound signature. The Philips Headphones mobile app also includes an integrated equaliser for further adjustment of the frequency response. Listeners can also use a wired connection via the included 3.5mm audio cable.
Noise cancelling and awareness mode
The ANC Pro hybrid active noise cancelling technology uses three built-in microphones to detect ambient sounds. The system reacts in real time to changes in the environment and effectively dampens even gusts of wind. If needed, you can activate the Awareness mode for a safe overview of what's happening around you. The Quick Awareness function then specifically amplifies human voices, making it easier to communicate without having to take the headphones off.
Battery life and charging
The integrated 720mAh lithium-polymer battery offers a long operating time on a single charge. Without active noise cancelling, the headphones will last for up to 80 hours. With the ANC function switched on, the operating time is around 50 hours of continuous playback. A full charge of a dead battery via the supplied USB-C cable takes approximately 2 hours. A quick 5-minute charge provides enough power for another 4 hours of listening.
Calls and microphone
Voice transmission is handled by a system of five integrated microphones located on the body of the headphones. Two of these are dedicated specifically to phone calls. A special AI algorithm effectively suppresses ambient noise and distracting sounds from your surroundings. Wind reduction technology maintains speech intelligibility even in bad weather outdoors. Voice calls thus remain clear and intelligible for both parties.
Comfort, fit and construction
The over-the-head design with a soft, adjustable headband contributes to high comfort during long-term wear. The memory foam ear pads are covered in synthetic PU leather for an optimal acoustic seal. The foldable design makes it easy to store the headphones flat or folded inwards. The manufacturer also used 52% recycled polycarbonate to make the plastic shell.
