1. Press the release buttons and remove the shaving head holder.
2. Turn the retaining rings anti-clockwise and lift them out.
3. Remove the old shaving heads and insert the replacements (the notches should fit exactly over the projections).
4. Replace the retaining rings and turn them clockwise until you hear a click.
5. Re-insert the shaver holder and close it.
The latest Philips shavers have a built-in replacement indicator in the form of a shaving unit symbol. This symbol lights up to indicate that the shaving heads need to be replaced. To restore 100% performance, replace the shaving heads every 2 years.
