nJoy Token 800

nJoy Token 800
The nJoy Token 800 UPS provides reliable protection for home and office electronics. This line-interactive UPS has an apparent power of 800VA and delivers a real power of 480W. The integrated Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) actively stabilises network fluctuations within a range of 170–280VAC, which saves the battery for a complete power outage. When running on battery power, it provides a simulated sine wave output, suitable for devices with switched-mode power supplies. A clear LCD display shows key operational statuses. Its tower design and silent, fanless operation make it easy to place in any workspace.
Key features of the nJoy Token 800 UPS
- Line-interactive topology with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)
- Simulated sine wave output in battery mode
- Eight output sockets (4 with battery backup, 4 with surge protection)
- RJ-45 data line protection with 1Gb/s speed support
- Clear LCD display for instant status checks
- Cold start function to start up without mains power
- Silent operation thanks to a fanless design
- Integrated USB port charges external devices
Topology and power
The UPS uses line-interactive topology, which efficiently processes input voltage in a wide range of 170–280VAC. In battery mode, it supplies an output voltage of 230VAC with a deviation of ±10%. The switch to battery power typically takes 6ms. The device automatically detects a frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz. Its efficiency in mains mode exceeds 95% at full load, and in AVR mode it reaches over 88%. In battery mode at half load, it achieves an efficiency of over 60%.
Battery and comprehensive protection
Energy backup is provided by a single GP09122L battery, which takes 6 to 8 hours to recharge to 90% capacity. At half load (240W), it provides power for approximately 3 minutes, while at a quarter load (120W) the time extends to 18 minutes. The cold start function starts the UPS even without mains power. The surge protection absorbs energy up to 475J. It also includes protection against overload, deep discharge and battery overcharge.
Management and features
A HID USB communication interface and a clear LCD display are used for management and status monitoring. The included software lets you configure an automatic system shutdown during prolonged power outages. Thanks to its fanless design, the UPS is completely silent. A separate USB port with a 5V/2.1A output is used for charging mobile phones or tablets.
Connectivity and sockets
Eight Schuko sockets are used to connect appliances. Four of them provide full battery backup along with surge protection. The remaining four sockets serve as surge protection for less critical peripherals. It also features RJ-45 data network protection with support for a transmission speed of 1Gb/s.
