nJoy Horus Plus 2000

nJoy Horus Plus 2000
The nJoy Horus Plus 2000 UPS protects your electronics from power outages and voltage fluctuations. It ensures a continuous power supply and safe shutdown of your devices. This line-interactive UPS operates with an apparent power of 2000VA and a real power of 1200W, which is sufficient for workstations, small servers, and other sensitive equipment. Thanks to its integrated automatic voltage regulation (AVR), it effectively stabilises network fluctuations without needing to switch to the battery. In battery mode, it provides a simulated sine wave output and can keep connected devices running for 4 minutes at half load. At full load, the backup time is less than one minute, which provides enough time to save your work and safely shut down the system.
Key features of the nJoy Horus Plus 2000 UPS
- Line-interactive topology with automatic voltage regulation (AVR) effectively stabilises voltage and saves the battery
- LCD display shows key information about the device's status
- Simulated sine wave output in battery mode is suitable for most common electronic devices
- Cold start function lets you start the device even without mains power
- ViewPower software monitors and controls the device's operation, enabling automatic shutdown
- Data and telephone line protection shields connected devices from surges
- Four backed-up Schuko output sockets for connecting appliances
Topology and voltage regulation
This UPS uses a line-interactive topology, which combines protection with efficient operation. A key element is the built-in automatic voltage regulation (AVR) with two boost stages and one buck stage. This technology stabilises the output voltage without switching to the battery during input voltage fluctuations within a wide range of 170–280VAC. This saves battery capacity for a complete outage. In battery mode, it regulates the output voltage with a deviation of ±10%.
Battery operation and backup
Power during an outage is provided by a pair of GP09122L batteries. These batteries recharge to 90% of their capacity in 4 to 6 hours. At half load (600W), the UPS keeps connected devices running for 4 minutes. The cold start function is used to start the UPS and connected appliances directly from the battery, even when no mains power is available. The output voltage in battery mode is a simulated sine wave, suitable for powering most computers and office equipment with switched-mode power supplies.
Clear monitoring and management
The front panel features a clear LCD display that shows key information about the UPS's status, such as input and output voltage, load level, or current battery capacity. For advanced management, the UPS includes a USB communication port. Using the supplied ViewPower software, you can monitor key operating parameters in real time, configure settings, and schedule an automatic safe shutdown of the operating system. With a noise level below 40dB and compact dimensions of 182×130×320mm, it is suitable for placement in an office environment.
Connectivity and sockets
In addition to the power circuits, it also protects connected components from voltage spikes on data lines. For this purpose, it includes RJ-45 ports (input/output) for network protection and RJ-11 ports (input/output) for the telephone line. Four Schuko-type output sockets are used for connecting appliances, all of which are fully backed up and protected.
