nJoy Code 800

nJoy Code 800
The nJoy Code 800 UPS is a reliable solution for protecting electronics in rack installations. It operates on a line-interactive topology, which actively stabilises the voltage and provides an instant power backup during a mains failure. With an apparent power of 800VA and a real power of 480W, it can power small servers, network components or workstations. At half load, it keeps devices running for 2.5 minutes, giving you enough time to save your work. The integrated Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) efficiently corrects fluctuations in the mains power without switching to the battery, thereby extending its lifespan. A clear LCD on the front panel provides information about the current status and load. Thanks to its 2U height design, the UPS is easy to integrate into standard 19" racks.
Key features of the nJoy Code 800 UPS
- The UPS uses a line-interactive topology with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)
- Clear LCD for easy monitoring of the device's status
- Cold start function allows the device to start even without mains power
- Software provides management and monitoring via the USB port
- 2U rackmount design for installation in standard racks
- RJ-45 data line protection is integrated directly into the device
- User-replaceable battery
Performance, battery and protection features
A line-interactive topology with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) forms the core of this UPS. The AVR system actively monitors the input voltage in the 162–290VAC range and automatically adjusts it without drawing power from the battery. This protects connected devices from damage caused by undervoltage or overvoltage, while also preserving the battery for a complete power outage. The real power of 480W covers the needs of smaller servers, network attached storage (NAS) and key workstations. Its high operating efficiency, reaching 95% at full load and 97% at half load, reduces energy loss and waste heat production. At the heart of the UPS is a single user-replaceable GP09122L battery module, which recharges to 90% of its capacity in 4 to 6 hours.
Management and connectivity
For detailed monitoring and management, the UPS includes a USB communication port. Using the supplied Power software, you can monitor key operating parameters on a connected computer, such as current load, battery status, or mains voltage. The software also lets you set up automated actions, like a safe shutdown of the operating system during a prolonged power outage, which prevents data loss. For a quick visual check directly on the device, a multifunction LCD displays information without needing a computer connection. Its low noise level, not exceeding 40dB, makes the UPS suitable for use even in quiet office environments. The UPS connects to the mains using a standard IEC-320 C14 input connector. To power your appliances, it offers a well-thought-out combination of output sockets, which are divided according to the type of protection.
