MikroTik CRS510-8XS-2XQ-IN

MikroTik CRS510-8XS-2XQ-IN
The Mikrotik CRS510-8XS-2XQ-IN managed switch is a solution for building high-speed networks. It offers two 100GbE and eight 25GbE ports, allowing you to connect both backbone links and servers with high throughput demands. Thanks to redundant power and a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 70°C, it ensures operation even in demanding conditions. The switch runs on the RouterOS v7 operating system with an L5 licence, which provides advanced L3 features including static and dynamic routing.

High-speed connectivity and performance
At the heart of the switch is the Marvell Prestera switch chip, which processes data traffic. The device is fitted with a QCA9531 (650MHz) processor and 128MB of RAM. The two 100-Gigabit QSFP28 ports are suitable for backbone links or connections to other network elements. Eight 25-Gigabit SFP28 ports provide the capacity to connect servers, storage, or workstations with high-speed demands. A separate 1-Gigabit Ethernet port is used for device management, which does not take away capacity from the data ports. The switch also supports advanced features like IGMP and MLD snooping to optimise multicast traffic.
Advanced management and reliable operation
Operation is ensured by redundant power options. You can power the switch via PoE++ (802.3bt) directly from another network device. With the RouterOS v7 operating system (L5 level), you get access to a wide range of L3 features. In addition to static routing, it also supports dynamic protocols like BGP, RIP, IS-IS and VRRP for creating network topologies. An integrated firewall is available to secure the network. Furthermore, the wide range of operating temperatures and the metal body enable operation even in industrial environments or in cabinets without active cooling.
