With the Switch you can create your own scenes, routines or schedules and adapt your home to your daily routine. The module supports rocker, lever and classic single core switches. Thanks to its small dimensions (5 × 4.6 × 1.9 cm), the switch can be easily installed in any standard flush-mounted box, with a maximum load of 10 A / 2500 W (400 W for incandescent bulbs, 150 W for LED and CFL). With Matter support, it connects easily to Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Home Assistant and the Meross app, without the need for an external hub, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only. All scenes run locally, giving you fast response times, higher stability and greater data security. Smart light switch requires Matter hub and stable Wi-Fi
To take full advantage of the Meross Smart Wi-Fi In-Wall Switch's capabilities, the switch must be connected to a Matter hub. The Meross switch is designed to work with leading smart home platforms Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa and Google Home. For integration into the Apple system, you can use e.g. HomePod, HomePod mini or Apple TV 4K. In an Amazon Alexa environment, it works great with Echo Dot (3. -5. Gen. ), Echo Show and other compatible devices. For Google platform users, Nest Hub, Nest Audio or Google Home are ideal. It is also necessary to have a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and a smartphone with at least iOS 16.1 or Android 8.1.
Easy and safe installation into existing wiring
The Meross Smart Wi-Fi In-Wall Switch is designed for simple yet secure installation. Thanks to its compact dimensions (Ø60 mm, depth 35 mm), it can be easily installed in a standard flush-mounted installation box. Before installation, however, it is necessary to verify the presence of the neutral wire, which is required for the proper operation of the device. At the same time, we recommend checking that there is enough space in the box for the module to be seamlessly and safely fitted behind the existing switch.
