Love without a user guide
Rafael Lopez lives alone with his son. He's had a difficult childhood, spent his adolescence with his cousin Julian's family, and has a failed marriage behind him. He's managed to become wealthy but still struggles with a lack of trust in people and low self-esteem.
Ellie Sinclair is a composer. She was betrayed by a friend she worked for, who used her and then cast her aside. She also carries the scars of a childhood with an abusive father, leaving her with damaged trust in both people and herself.
The two have known each other since secondary school. Ellie had a crush on Rafael, but he never noticed her. Life brings them back together when Ellie starts teaching Rafael's visually impaired son to play musical instruments and then becomes his nanny.
They both try to maintain a purely professional relationship, even though they are drawn to each other. However, Nico, Rafael's son, insists that his nanny joins them on their holiday to Hawaii. The captivating surroundings and a young boy facing blindness can steer life in an unexpected direction.
