LEGRAND UPS Keor SP 1500VA/900W

The LEGRAND Keor SP UPS with line-interactive topology delivers a real power of 900W. This free-standing tower device maintains a stable power supply for connected electronics, preventing damage to sensitive devices in the home and office. The 173×148×380mm design serves to protect routers, modems, computers, DVR systems, NAS storage, or POS terminals. It provides power with a total efficiency of 97% at an output voltage ranging from 207V to 253V. The built-in fan maintains an optimal operating temperature between 0°C and 40°C, and the same range also applies for storage. Despite active cooling, the noise level does not exceed 40dB, so the device won't disturb you while you're working in an office environment. Protective circuits shield the connected technology from dangerous power surges and can handle a universal load type.

Performance

This device operates on the principle of line-interactive technology, which responds to fluctuations in the electrical grid. The device uses a single-phase input and output and converts alternating current with a high efficiency of 97%. The real power output is 900W and the apparent power is 1500VA. The output power factor is 0.6 and the secondary frequency ranges from 49Hz to 61Hz.

Efficiency and automatic voltage regulation

The integrated automatic voltage regulator constantly corrects the output voltage within the range of 207V to 253V without needing to discharge the battery. This system actively compensates for overvoltage and undervoltage on the mains, thereby extending the life of the internal battery. The input voltage ranges from 170V to 280V at a primary frequency of 45Hz to 65Hz with a single-phase connection.

Battery

Inside the unit is a single VRLA lead-acid battery weighing 2380g. This industrial, hermetically sealed cell requires no maintenance and provides power during unexpected power outages. The system does not support the connection of external battery modules and relies exclusively on the single internal battery.

Communication interface

Connection to a computer or other control system is handled via the integrated RS-232 communication interface or a standard USB communication port. These ports are used to monitor the power status and configure basic parameters. The unit also offers a dedicated USB port for charging mobile devices. The device does not support remote network management, the SNMP protocol, or a potential-free contact.

Indicators

The front panel features a graphical LED battery status indicator, which provides an instant overview of the remaining capacity. The black and white design is complemented by a visual LED strip on the device's body for a quick status check. A button for muting the audible buzzer is also available if needed. The compact size of the unit makes setup and placement in any workspace easy.

Connectivity and sockets

Input AC power is supplied through an IEC C14 connector on the back of the device. For connecting end devices, there are a pair of French Type E output sockets and two IEC C13 connectors. These four outlets provide flexibility when connecting various types of power cables for desktop computers, printers, or network components.
