The Imou Cruiser 2C 5Mp IP Camera offers a modern security solution for both outdoor and indoor spaces. It provides a high resolution of 2880 × 1620px and a wide viewing angle of 78°. Detailed High-Resolution Image
The camera uses a high-quality 1/3” 5-megapixel progressive CMOS sensor, which generates a clear image in 2880 × 1620px resolution at a frame rate of up to 25 or 30 frames per second. The fixed 3.6mm lens provides a balanced field of view with a horizontal angle of 78°, a vertical angle of 41°, and a screen size angle of 94°. Modern H.265 and H.264 compression formats effectively reduce storage capacity requirements and network load. These formats preserve the quality of the captured video footage.
Flexible Night Modes
The device offers a total of four modes for monitoring an area in low-light conditions with a range of 30m. The classic infrared mode provides a clear black and white image, while the full-colour mode uses integrated LED spotlights to illuminate the scene and capture colour details. The intelligent mode maintains power-saving infrared imaging and automatically switches to colour display only when suspicious movement is detected. The user can completely deactivate the night vision and auxiliary spotlights in the system settings.
Smart Detection with Artificial Intelligence
The security system uses the advanced IMOU SENSE algorithm, which significantly increases scene evaluation accuracy and responds to events within 0.02 seconds. The artificial intelligence reliably recognises human figures up to a distance of 22 metres and cars up to a distance of 44 metres, thereby eliminating false alarms caused by insects or moving branches. When a defined area is breached, the camera can activate the built-in 110dB siren along with warning spotlights and immediately send a notification to the user's mobile phone.
Two-Way Audio and Active Deterrence
The camera has an integrated sensitive microphone and a powerful speaker with echo cancellation, which allows for seamless communication with people at the entrance. The user can speak to family or warn unknown visitors about the monitored area via the mobile app. The sound system also serves as an acoustic alarm. The built-in 110dB siren can effectively deter unwelcome guests on the spot.
Reliable Data Storage
Security monitoring recordings can be saved on a MicroSD memory card, for which there is a built-in slot with support for cards up to 512GB. In addition to local storage on a memory card, the device also supports data storage on cloud storage as part of the manufacturer's subscription service. Thanks to compatibility with the ONVIF standard, the camera can be easily integrated into existing camera systems and video footage can be stored on NVR network recorders.
IP Camera Connectivity and App
Wireless connectivity is provided by a modern Wi-Fi 6 interface with a dual antenna for stable data transmission and better signal penetration through walls; there is also a 100Mbps Ethernet RJ-45 network port available. Device management is handled through the Imou mobile app, which is available for iOS and Android operating systems and offers a complete user interface in English.
