Huawei AP265E

Huawei AP265E
The Huawei AP265E WiFi access point uses the modern Wi-Fi 6 standard and transmits a signal on two frequency bands with a total transfer speed. This compact access point is ideal for office spaces and modern homes, reliably handling high data traffic. The device creates a stable wireless connection for dozens of simultaneously active users without any undesirable speed fluctuations. Its 8.6 × 3.8 × 16cm design makes it easy to integrate into any indoor environment. Its overall functionality is complemented by low power consumption, which is just 9.4W at full load.
Key features of the Huawei AP265E WiFi access point
- Equipped with five gigabit Ethernet ports, four of which are for connecting end devices
- Integrated smart antennas direct the signal towards connected devices
- Optimal wireless signal range of 20 metres
- Supports up to 128 users simultaneously
- Powered over Ethernet according to the 802.3af standard
- Compact design weighing only 230g for easy installation
Wireless transfers with Wi-Fi 6 technology
This access point transmits a signal on two frequency bands simultaneously, effectively dividing network traffic. In the 2.4GHz band, it uses a 40MHz channel width with a 2 × 2 antenna configuration. In the 5GHz band, it operates with a channel width of up to 160MHz with a 2 × 2 antenna arrangement. The total transfer speed of 2975Mbps is split between both frequencies. The faster 5GHz band handles demanding data transfers without delay, enabling smooth video streaming and fast downloads of large files.
Coverage and capacity
The access point offers optimal signal coverage up to a distance of 20 metres from the source, depending on the layout of internal obstacles. The designed capacity can easily serve the recommended 64 active users at once. If needed, up to 128 client devices can connect to the network without any loss of connection stability. The built-in system efficiently distributes the available bandwidth among all connected clients. This helps maintain high network throughput even under full load in a busy office environment.
Network management and operating modes
The device operates in access point mode and directs the wireless signal using integrated smart antennas. These built-in antennas adjust the direction of radio signal propagation according to the current position of the connected client stations. The antenna gain in both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands is 4dBi per branch. The network administrator gains an effective tool for signal distribution throughout the space with few dead spots. The device supports operation in a wide temperature range from 0°C to 40°C, which makes it easy to deploy in various types of buildings.
Connectivity options
Wired connection for end devices is provided by five built-in gigabit Ethernet ports with connection speed detection. The access point is powered using standardised Power over Ethernet technology in compliance with the 802.3af standard. This power method eliminates the need to install a separate power adapter near the device.
