Girl War

The Orcs killed all our horses and most of our men.

They have taken our cities, burned our fields, and yet they continue to wage war.

Now our daughters have taken up arms.

Galva - for the sake of her three brothers, two of whom are killed by the orcs, Galvich - defies her family's wishes and enlists in a new and untested unit called the Raven Knights. She's taking it out on a once beautiful city overrun by an orc army. Accompanying them are huge warrior corvids. These terrifying birds, creatures of the blackest magic, may be the key weapon that will stop the Orcs from waging war and conquering all of humanity.

The path to victory is bloody and the orcs are cunning and cruel. The raven knights can rely on no security - neither family ties, nor the wisdom of their commanders, nor their own safety from dangerous avian companions. But some hopes are worth any risk.
