Storage and graphics interface
For connecting a graphics card, the board offers a primary PCIe 5.0 x16 slot that connects directly to the processor. The board's storage system provides a wide range of options. There are a total of four M.2 slots, with two M.2 slots supporting PCIe 5.0 for high transfer speeds with newer NVMe SSDs. These are complemented by another two M.2 slots with the PCIe 4.0 standard. For conventional hard drives or SSDs, the board offers four SATA III ports with speeds of 6Gb/s and support for RAID 0, 1 and 10 arrays.
Memory support and system management
The board includes four slots for DDR5 RAM, which operate in a dual-channel configuration. It supports a total capacity of up to 256GB, which is 64GB per module. To simplify setup and optimise performance, the board supports AMD EXPO and XMP memory profiles. The Gigabyte Control Center (GCC) software handles overall system management. The Q-Flash Plus feature lets you update the BIOS without a processor, memory or graphics card installed.
Network and external connectivity
A fast Realtek 5GbE LAN port and a Qualcomm wireless module with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 technology provide network connectivity. The rear I/O panel offers extensive connectivity, dominated by two multifunctional USB4 Type-C ports with integrated DisplayPort 1.4 output. You will also find one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, five USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, and three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports. For the case's front panel, the board offers an internal USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 header with support for Power Delivery fast charging up to 65W.
Audio, cooling and power
The proven Realtek ALC1220 audio codec handles sound reproduction, providing 7.1-channel audio and an S/PDIF optical output. To maintain optimal operating temperatures, the board includes a comprehensive system of connectors for cooling. A total of eight headers for fans and water pumps enables precise control of airflow throughout the build. The power delivery system supplies stable power even to more powerful AMD processors, which is crucial for maintaining high performance under load.
