Efficient WINDFORCE cooling with Hawk fans
The WINDFORCE cooling system uses Hawk fans with blades inspired by the aerodynamics of an eagle's wing, which reduce air resistance and noise while increasing air pressure by up to 53.6% and air volume by 12.5%. A graphene nano lubricant extends the fan bearing lifespan 2.1×, bringing it close to the life of dual-ball bearings but with lower noise. The 3D Active Fan feature provides semi-autonomous cooling, and the fans stop at low GPU load or in less demanding games. The server-grade thermal gel, applied to critical components like VRAM and MOSFETs, is highly deformable and provides optimal contact with uneven surfaces, while resisting deformation caused by transport or long-term use, unlike traditional thermal pads. A copper baseplate in direct contact with the GPU, along with composite copper heat pipes, quickly draws heat away from the GPU and VRAM to the heatsink, while the extended heatsink lets air pass through, improving heat dissipation.
Quality components and advanced control
A reinforced metal backplate, firmly connected to the I/O bracket, ensures exceptional structural stability. Ultra Durable components include lower RDS(on) MOSFETs designed for lower switching resistance, which enables faster charging and discharging of electrical current at extremely low temperatures. Metal chokes hold energy longer than common iron-core chokes at high frequency, effectively reducing energy loss and EMI interference. Lower ESR capacitors ensure better conductivity for system performance and longer lifespan. The fully automated production process guarantees the quality of the circuit boards and eliminates the sharp protrusions of solder joints seen on conventional PCBs, preventing hand injuries or accidental component damage during assembly. The GIGABYTE CONTROL CENTER software provides a unified interface, letting users adjust clock speed, voltage, fan mode and power target in real time.
