Topology and stable performance
The device uses line-interactive topology, which effectively responds to voltage fluctuations in the mains supply. It provides an apparent power of 1000VA and a real power of 600W, which ensures sufficient capacity to power standard workstations and network components. The integrated Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) function constantly compensates for mains deviations without needing to discharge the battery, thereby extending its overall lifespan and ensuring a stable output voltage of +/- 10%.
Battery and protection
Two 12V, 7Ah batteries ensure smooth operation during a power outage. The typical recharge time to 90% capacity is 4–6 hours. The device supports a cold start function, which allows the UPS to be switched on and to power connected appliances even without a mains supply. It also includes a useful battery charging function in off-mode and an automatic restart once the power supply is restored.
Management and connectivity
For easy management and monitoring of the power status, an integrated USB communication port enables real-time connection to a computer. Users can conveniently monitor current operating parameters and battery status directly on their monitor. The front panel is also fitted with a modern touchscreen LCD, which clearly displays the power status and any abnormal conditions for immediate fault finding and resolution. The rear panel offers connection options for various devices. Two standard Schuko sockets are available for connecting computers and peripherals. Data transfer security is enhanced by integrated RJ11 and RJ45 connectors, which provide reliable surge protection for the telephone line and network cables against damage caused by lightning strikes.
