When Corporations Decide the Future

A thrilling post-apocalyptic novel set in the not-too-distant future in the regions of the former Czech Republic. The state and its structures have collapsed, leaving the last undestroyed cities and communities to survive on their own. Powerful corporations have partially taken over the state's role in integrating civilisation and providing infrastructure, but their goals are far from noble.

Viks leads a mission to expand the influence of one of these corporations from central Bohemia eastward to Ostrava by striking deals with local hegemons and dominant communities. In doing so, he must face not only the local pitfalls and intrigues of a world gone wild, but also agents from rival corporations from Poland and Austria.
