Eyes are the best

Student Chi-won's life falls apart when her father suddenly leaves her for another woman... Her mother spirals into despair. Her younger sister scrambles for something to hold onto in their shattered world. Chi-won's grades begin to plummet. And then there are the dreams – vivid, colourful, and increasingly difficult to distinguish from reality. According to Korean superstition, eating fish eyes brings good luck. But what about other eyes? Like the ones belonging to George, her mother's new boyfriend, who has wormed his way into their small flat but doesn't exactly seem to be a model of virtue? His eyes are blue, brilliant, just like the ones that appear in Chi-won's nightmares. What would they taste like? And so Chi-won, who originally just wanted everything to be like it was before, descends a terrifying spiral, discovering new desires... and a new hunger.
