Enchanted

Belladonna Blackthorn may be a witch, but she has neither the time nor the inclination for magic right now. She’s trying to keep her beloved bookshop, Luna, afloat, which is on the verge of bankruptcy thanks to a toxic new boss. At the same time, she has to deal with all the other hardships of living among ordinary people, from whom she must hide her witchy abilities. However, on her thirtieth birthday, she receives a mysterious letter from the witches’ lodge, setting her a trial to test her magic. Belle suddenly faces the threat of losing her powers, so with the help of her friends and one annoying (and dangerously handsome) supervisor from the lodge, she begins to fight against fate, dark forces, and her own fear. A cosy autumn read with a pinch of magic.
