Long life and comfortable playability
Elixir strings owe their durability to POLYWEB technology. This ultra-thin protective layer covers the entire wound string, preventing sweat, grease and dirt from settling in the windings – the main cause of tone loss in standard strings. This ensures a warm tone and long life. The plain strings also feature an Anti-Rust treatment to protect them from corrosion. The smooth-feeling strings allow comfortable finger movement along the fretboard.
