Full HD picture
This device records video in high resolution 1920×1080 pixels, which corresponds to a detailed 2MP for a precise overview of what's happening in the room. At the heart of the optical system is a 1/3" progressive CMOS sensor, complemented by a fixed lens with a 3.3mm focal length and F2.4 aperture. The wide-angle, single-lens optic provides a 90° horizontal and 60° vertical viewing angle to cover the monitored area. Efficient H.264 video compression effectively reduces data stream requirements and lowers the size of video files stored on the memory card and in the cloud.
Infrared night vision
The device reliably guards the designated area even after dark or in complete darkness, thanks to its integrated night mode. The manufacturer has built classic infrared night vision into the body, which offers a range of 5m from the lens. The infrared LEDs activate automatically when the ambient light drops, providing a clear, high-contrast monochrome image for easy object identification.
Sound and motion detection
Smart sensors constantly analyse the situation in the room and react instantly to any unusual events in the field of view. The integrated motion and sound detection functions serve as a reliable line of defence for your home or office. When activity is detected, the system immediately generates mobile notifications directly on your smartphone's display. At the same time, a built-in audible alarm can also be triggered to deter any intruders in the monitored property.
Two-way audio and communication
This indoor camera features a complete audio system for full real-time audio transmission. The design incorporates a sensitive built-in microphone and speaker, enabling full two-way remote communication. This lets you easily talk to family members, calm pets, or warn an uninvited guest. The audio system also serves to trigger the built-in audible alarm when any danger is detected.
Recording storage
Users have various methods for securely storing captured video recordings and images. The device includes a physical slot for a MicroSDXC memory card, which supports media up to 256GB. If you prefer to back up data off the device itself, you can use the secure cloud storage provided directly by the manufacturer. Recording can be set to trigger based on motion or sound detection to save space.
Connectivity and app
Wireless connectivity is provided by an integrated Wi-Fi module supporting the 2.4GHz 802.11n/g standard with WPA3 security. Management and live stream viewing is handled by the free mydlink mobile app, which is fully compatible with iOS and Android operating systems. The system supports smart home integration via the Home Assistant and Google Home platforms. Voice control works through the popular Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for maximum user convenience.
