The CUDY AX300 dual-band WiFi system works with the Wi-Fi 6 standard and transmits data at a combined wireless speed. The device combines the functions of a classic router and a mesh node to create a unified home network with seamless coverage. The 802.11ax standard increases overall capacity and transmission efficiency in areas with a high concentration of connected phones, tablets and other smart home devices. The internal system runs on a 1.3GHz dual-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor, which is complemented by 256MB of RAM.
This system divides wireless traffic into two separate frequency bands. It reaches speeds of up to 2402Mbps in the 5GHz band, while providing speeds of up to 574Mbps in the 2.4GHz band. Stable signal propagation is ensured by 5 internal non-detachable antennas, 3 of which operate on the 5GHz frequency and 2 on the 2.4GHz frequency. Beamforming technology actively directs the wireless signal towards connected devices, which improves connection stability throughout the space.
The system supports Cudy Mesh technology, which lets you link multiple units into a single network under one name. Users can move freely around the house, while the Fast Roaming feature automatically switches client devices to a stronger node without interruption. Two units cover an area of up to 200m², while a set of three units can cover a space of up to 270m². The total capacity of the system is designed for the reliable connection of up to 200 active devices simultaneously.
Data security is ensured by WPA2, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK and WPA3 encryption standards. An integrated SPI Firewall and DoS protection shield the internal network from external threats from the internet. The device includes a built-in VPN server and client with support for WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPsec, Zerotier, PPTP and L2TP protocols. There are also advanced parental controls, which let you filter web content and schedule access time for individual users.
Physical connection to the internet and other network elements is provided by dedicated Ethernet ports on the back of the device. For the internet connection, there is one high-speed WAN port that supports speeds of up to 2.5Gbps. For the local network, one gigabit LAN port is available for a stable wired connection to a computer or television. The entire device is powered via a standard DC connector using the included 12V and 1A adapter.
